Thuringowa (http://www.thuringowa.qld...) was a modern city of 63,000 plus people in Queensland, Thuringowa city was adjacent to Townsville city and has merged with Townsville on March 2008, Thuringowa has lost the right to call itself a city but will will keep the name Thuringowa.As i get time this page will be merged with the Townsville city page here Townsville.
